O que são os chunks e como eles te ajudam
Em português, é muito comum fazermos perguntas para chegarmos a algum lugar, como “Onde fica a farmácia?”, “Onde fica o aeroporto?”, “Tem um shopping por aqui?” ou “Tem um hospital por perto?”.
Essas perguntas são exemplos do que chamamos de chunks. Os chunks são grupos de palavras que os falantes nativos de um idioma usam frequentemente quando conversam com alguém.
Aprendendo espanhol com a ajuda dos chunks, você não precisa decorar palavras isoladas nem traduzir palavra por palavra na hora de se comunicar. Assim, você aprende espanhol mais rápido e tem menos chances de errar na hora de falar com um nativo. Legal, né?
Para começar, que tal conferir abaixo três perguntas-chave para pedir direções em espanhol?
Pedindo direções em espanhol
Três chunks muito importantes para você perguntar como chegar a algum lugar são:
- ¿Dónde queda…? Onde fica…?
- ¿Dónde está…? Onde fica…?
- ¿Hay un / una… cerca? Tem um / uma… por perto?, Tem um / uma (…) por aqui?
Os chunks que você viu são exemplos de chunks semifixos. Isso significa que estes chunks podem ser completados dependendo do que quisermos dizer. Veja como:
- ¿Dónde queda la farmacia? Onde fica a farmácia?
- ¿Dónde queda el banco? Onde fica o banco?
- ¿Dónde queda el aeropuerto? Onde fica o aeroporto?
- ¿Dónde queda el hotel? Onde fica o hotel?
- ¿Dónde está el restaurante? Onde fica o restaurante?
- ¿Dónde está el bar? Onde fica o bar?
- ¿Dónde está el supermercado? Onde fica o supermercado?
- ¿Dónde está la parada de autobús? Onde fica o ponto de ônibus?
- ¿Dónde está la parada del colectivo? (ARG) Onde fica o ponto de ônibus?
- ¿Hay un hospital cerca? Tem um hospital por perto?
- ¿Hay una tienda de zapatos cerca? Tem uma loja de sapatos por aqui?
- ¿Hay una cafetería cerca? Tem um café por perto?
Algumas formas de responder a essa pergunta são:
La farmacia queda en la Calle de Eloy Gonzalo. A farmácia fica na rua Eloy Gonzalo.
El aeropuerto queda en Venustiano Carranza. O aeroporto fica em Venustiano Carranza.
Hay un hospital entre las Avenidas Providencia y Vitacura. Tem um hospital entre a Avenida Providencia e a Vitacura.
Hay una parada en la Avenida San Juan. Tem um ponto na Avenida San Juan.

Como dar direções em espanhol
A seguir, vamos ver alguns chunks para dar direções em espanhol:
- al lado del / al lado de la do lado do / do lado da
- frente al / frente a la em frente ao / em frente à
- delante del / delante de la na frente do / na frente da
- en la esquina na esquina
- en el cruce no cruzamento
- en el semáforo no semáforo
- (una) cuadra (um) bloco
- todo recto sempre reto
- a la derecha na direita, à direita
- a la izquierda na esquerda, à esquerda

Frases de exemplo:
- La farmacia queda al lado del hospital. A farmácia fica do lado do hospital.
- La tienda queda al lado de la escuela. A loja fica do lado da escola.
- El banco queda frente al centro comercial. O banco fica na frente do shopping.
- El restaurante está frente a la panadería. O restaurante fica em frente à padaria.
- La parada queda delante del banco. O ponto fica na frente do banco.
- La parada está delante de la farmacia. O ponto fica na frente da farmácia.
- La cafetería queda en la esquina. O café fica na esquina.
- El hotel queda en la esquina. O hotel fica na esquina.
- Hay una tienda de zapatos en el cruce. Tem uma loja de sapatos no cruzamento.
- Hay un bar en el cruce. Tem um bar no cruzamento.
- En el semáforo, tome la derecha. No semáforo, pegue à direita.
- En el semáforo, tome la izquierda. No semáforo, pegue à esquerda.
- Queda a dos cuadras de acá. Fica à dois blocos daqui.
- El restaurante queda a 3 cuadras de acá. O restaurante fica a 3 blocos daqui.
- Siga todo recto. Continue sempre reto.
- Vaya todo recto hasta el semáforo. Vai sempre reto até o semáforo.
- Doble a la derecha. = Gire a la derecha. = Tome la derecha. Vire à direita.
- Doble a la izquierda. = Gire a la izquierda. = Tome la izquierda. Vire à esquerda.

Como pedir e dar direções em espanhol – diálogos
- A – ¿Dónde queda el hotel? Onde fica o hotel?
- B – El hotel queda al lado del banco. Para llegar, tome la primera a la derecha y siga recto por dos cuadras. O hotel fica do lado do banco. Para chegar lá, vire na primeira à direita e continue reto por dois blocos.
- A – ¿Dónde está el restaurante? Onde fica o restaurante?
- B – Queda frente al hotel. Fica na frente do hotel.
- A – ¿Hay una cafetería cerca? Tem um café por perto?
- B – Sí, hay una cafetería en la esquina de la calle Perón y la Avenida Avellaneda. Sim, tem um café na esquina da rua Perón e a Avenida Avellaneda.
